I notice that my life is slightly changing. I become more stress-free and more abundant in time than I used to be. This is simply because I comply with 2 principles.
1. Getting up early
I adjust myself to wake up at 4:50 am. This habit forces me to go to bed early without wasting time doing something trivial at night. Lately, I do eat less and use the internet less after I come home. Instead, I spend more on reading books.
2. Killing the Internet
The Internet is convenient but distracting. I have more time since I decided to use it limitedly. Next week, I move to a new apartment but I won’t have any Internet connection at home.
We can focus on what adds value to our own lives not by possessing convenient tools and acquiring efficient ways but by getting rid of distractions.
